If admins choose the 'not configured' setting, users will have access to the Sidebar and Edge Copilot experience.Clicking on the Bing icon in the Toolbar will invoke the new Discover experience. The Sidebar will show at all times in the browser frame. If admins enable the Sidebar, users will have access to the Sidebar and Edge Copilot experience.Admins retain the ability to control and customize the Sidebar and its experiences, as needed by using the following settings:.This enhances user productivity and convenience by providing a seamless and intuitive way to access their most used tools. Evolved Sidebar Interaction: The new Hover functionality lets users open the Sidebar by hovering on the Bing icon in the Toolbar.The Edge Sidebar can be hidden when a user isn't using it and it only reappears when a user needs it. Enhanced Sidebar Visibility: With the new Auto-Hide functionality, a user can maximize the productivity and convenience of the sidebar without sacrificing valuable screen space.As the new Bing icon in the Toolbar, Edge Copilot helps users compose better emails, search the web faster, learn new skills, all done more conveniently. It provides intelligent suggestions and insights based on the context of the web page and the user's goals. The New Discover: Edge Copilot is a powerful tool that helps users boost their productivity and efficiency.A New Microsoft Edge Sidebar. In this release, the Sidebar introduces several new features and improvements aimed at enhancing productivity, convenience, and the user experience.Fixed an issue where trying to take window mode screenshots was taking screenshots of the entire screen instead of the app in focus for some Insiders.Fixed an issue where Settings wasn’t launching in safe mode for some Insiders.Fixed a high hitting tabtip.exe crash that may have impacted the ability to type in the last couple flights.Did some work to help address an issue that could cause the Japanese and Chinese IME candidate windows to not appear after using connected standby, due to a crash.These experiences should again be working with this build. We fixed the issue causing Unicode Emoji 15support which began rolling out with Build 23475 and the updated color font format with COLRv1 support that began rolling out with Build 23506 to no longer appear.Fixed an issue that was causing search to not launch sometimes in the latest Dev Channel builds.Fixed a high hitting explorer.exe crash in the latest builds impacting taskbar reliability. ![]()
